Where can I listen to Pandora?
You can take Pandora almost anywhere! We aim to provide a boundless listening experience. Pandora accounts are designed to be portable. You can seamlessly access your account and your personalized Pandora stations on any from any device that supports Pandora.
You can listen to your personalized Pandora account on your computer, smartphone, tablet, or home entertainment center. You can login on any device that’s supported, even if you’re borrowing that device from a friend.
Why are there ads on Pandora?
Pandora streams music online, just like a radio station streams music through the airwaves. Just like a radio station, we run ads in order to continue to provide this music service. Basically, we have to pay the bills.
With every song we play from our library, we pay a royalty fee to the artists. That adds up when you offer as many songs as we do. Advertising helps us cover those costs so you can listen for free.
We are dedicated to keeping advertising at a minimum. Ads are short, sweet, and generously sporadic.
If you choose to upgrade your account to Pandora One, as a paid subscriber, you can enjoy an ad free listening experience.
Why do you need to know my age?
When using your free Pandora account you will experience advertisements. We are working to provide you with a tailored experience, in order to do that we need to know a little about you.
We aim to provide ads most significant to our subscribers, creating a unique listening experience for each account.
The music we provide our listeners is in no way affected by the registered date of birth. And if you upgrade to Pandora One, it becomes obsolete.
